Mediator Panel Discussion/MWI

  • 02 Aug 2016
  • 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
  • MWI, 10 Liberty Square - 4th Floor, Boston, MA 02109
Understandably, there are obvious differences between mediating a Small Claims or Summary Process case and mediating a chapter 11 bankruptcy case. But different how? Have you ever wondered about the similarities which might exist between mediating with challenging parties in court versus workplace and employment cases? Or how a family and divorce mediator defines success in their practice, either differently or similarly, as compared to other mediators? These questions are only a sample of those to be discussed at MWI's first ever Roundtable panel discussion, set to be moderated by Marcus Stergio. Now meet the panelists!

Jack Esher is an internationally recognized bankruptcy and finance mediator who works with both MWI and CBInsolvency and has been engaged as a mediator of derivative contract disputes in the Lehman Brothers bankruptcy for the past five years. Elizabeth Marcus is the one and only practitioner in the New England region tasked with mediating workplace and employment cases through the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Nnena Odim is a distinguished and highly regarded family and divorce mediator who also represents divorcing clients through The Legal Services Center of Harvard Law School. This is a one of a kind, too good to be free opportunity to pick the brains of these three veteran mediators and learn more about the practice areas in which they respectively operate.

MWI Roundtable events are free for all active MWI mediators. Those who are not actively mediating with the MWI Court Panel are welcome to attend up to two Roundtables per year for free. RSVP is required for all attendees and can be completed by registering online. For more information on this and other upcoming MWI Roundtables, click here.
