Best Practice Tips for Screening for Domestic Violence: a roundtable workshop sponsored by MWI, presented by Nicole Dipentima

Nicole Dipentima is a mediator, ADR Case Manager, and paralegal with Boston Law Collaborative.  She is also a graduate student at the University of Massachusetts/Boston, studying Dispute Resolution.  Based on research for her thesis, Nicole will share her findings and thoughts on best practice tips for screening for domestic violence and will introduce DOVE, a 19-item instrument designed to assess and manage the risk of domestic violence between partners during and following their participation in divorce mediation.

Nicole's presentation, from 2:30-4pm, will be preceded by social time at 2 pm.
