Cost: $650 per person (including $25 materials fee)

Note: CMCRI now accepts credit card payments through PayPal (see www.cmcri.org <http://www.cmcri.org> for the PayPal link). Payments, which should be made only after confirmation of registration, can be by cash, check, or credit card.

The days and times:
Thursday, April 28: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday, April 29: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, April 30: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday, May 6: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, May 7: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Continental breakfast will be provided on all training days. Lunch will be provided on May 7.

The total training is 35 hours. With the exception of the final Saturday class on May 7, which all trainees must attend, participants can miss up to 5 hours of the training.

A make-up session will be scheduled after the training.

Certificates for the Basic Mediation Skills Training will not be issued until the training (or make-up training, if necessary) is completed. CMCRI will not issue a certificate for less than 30 hours, which is Rhode Island's statutory minimum training required for a mediator to provide confidential services.

Rhode Island's MCLE Commission has granted 20 credits (including 2 ethics credits) for CMCRI’s past Basic Mediation Skills Training based on the class description.

The National Association of Social Workers – Rhode Island Chapter has granted 35 credits for CMCRI’s past Basic Mediation Skills Trainings; CMCRI has applied for and anticipates receiving a similar credits for this training.

Any registrant applying for continuing education credits through CMCRI will be charged a $10 fee.
