Date: October 7, 2011, 1 pm-5 pm

Fee: $79

This workshop, which is primarily experiential, is an introduction to Appreciative Inquiry for people who have some facilitation experience and skills.

We'll begin by defining Appreciative Inquiry, a method of identifying and building on an organization’s strengths by telling stories of the organization at its best, and explaining why this can be more effective than traditional problem-solving-based planning methods.

Participants will then experience what it feels like to participate in two to three different simple Appreciative Inquiry activities. Finally, as a group we will pick a real-life situation from the participants' work life and design an Appreciative Inquiry intervention to address that situation.
