CONFLICT, CONSENSUS and LEADERSHIP
in the political debate

NE-ACR's fall meeting at the Wellesley Community Center in Wellesley Hills, MA, will start at 5:30 pm with a social hour, followed by a panel discussion beginning at 8 pm.

Loraine Della Porta, deputy director of the Massachusetts Office of Public Collaboration, will moderate the panel discussion with Susan Podziba, who works throughout the world and specializes in designing processes tailored to complex public policy conflicts; Mari Fitzduff, who teaches at Brandeis and has worked extensively in Northern Ireland, Sri Lanka, the Middle East, and Indonesia; and Joni Doherty, the director of the New England Center for Civic Life, which focuses on deliberative democracy. There will be plenty of time for questions.
