Transforming Divisive Conversation:
A Workshop for Clergy and Lay Leaders

Like all communities, communities of faith are characterized as much by their diversity as by their shared identity, beliefs and values. Conflict can arise in times of transition, or around differences in theology, worship, and identity. Dealing with such divisive issues can be challenging. This workshop will explore ways that congregational leaders can prepare for conflict, prevent corrosive interactions and help their members engage each other constructively. It draws on the experience of the Public Conversations Project and the Rev. Mike Duda in helping communities of faith and other organizations to transform destructive conflict into constructive conversation.

Cost: $150
