Stump the Mediator/MWI

  • 30 Apr 2014
  • 2:00 PM - 4:30 PM
  • 4 Faneuil Hall, Boston, MA 02109
Refreshing your skills and adding to your mediator toolkit is something one can always benefit from throughout their career as a mediator. Mediators Josh Hoch and Marcus Stergio promise a fun and interactive round table session, where participants will play the role of parties and mediators while we practice scenarios where mediators have felt stumped when mediating. To get the most out of this experience, come prepared to share some challenging situations you’ve faced. Perhaps it was a question posed to you by a party that you just weren’t quite sure how best to answer; a party admitting he is intoxicated; a party believing that radio waves were projecting thoughts that were not her own into her head; or any other time that you have felt stumped or wished you had done something differently, but didn’t know what to do. Come ready to brainstorm and expand your knowledge on how to deal with these and other situations. As mentors to mediators, Josh and Marcus have already helped countless mediators expand their skills. Join them to refresh your skills, add to your mediator toolkit, and challenge yourself in a fun and interactive way.

This event is free for MWI Mediation Panelists, and it is also free for anyone who has completed the MWI Divorce Mediation Training. For other mediators, this event is open for registration at a cost of $50. To learn more about this or other round table events, call or email Marcus Stergio at 617-973-9739 x27 or mstergio@mwi.org.
