Elder mediation helps seniors and their adult children resolve conflicts around issues such as living arrangements, family communication, caregiving, financial planning, inheritance/estate disputes, medical decisions, and driving.

In this program, participants will receive in-depth training to enhance the skills necessary to convene multi-party family mediations and facilitate consensus for families experiencing complex and emotionally charged conflict around these critical matters. Join trainers Arline Kardasis and Crystal Thorpe, with guest experts from the fields of elder law and gerontology, for four days packed with content, skill-building, role plays, and opportunities to interact with fellow participants (who often travel from around the world to attend).

The cost of this training is $1,050 through June 18 ($1,125 thereafter), which includes continental breakfast, lunch and snacks as well as all course materials.

The training will be held at the Walker Center in Newton, MA, on the following days and times:
July 29-31: 9 am to 5 pm
August 1: 9 am to 3 pm
Attendance at all sessions is required
