WELCOME TO THE NEW ENGLAND ASSOCIATION FOR CONFLICT RESOLUTION: THE SIX-STATE CONNECTION
The New England Association for Conflict Resolution (NEACR) connects and supports conflict resolution practitioners and scholars in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. We have provided accessible information, education, resources and networking opportunities to new and experienced practitioners for over 25 years.
Mediators, arbitrators, collaborative professionals, lawyers, educators, students, and researchers -- together our community shares a mutual commitment to constructive conflict resolution, promoting best practices and increasing public understanding of our work. We are one of the national Association for Conflict Resolution's (ACR) largest and oldest chapters, with an impressive history of leadership in the national and regional dispute resolution communities.
We welcome you to explore our community, meet our members, and use NEACR as a resource for information, learning and continued exposure to new topics, themes and concepts concerning conflict resolution in New England.

2021 Upcoming Events
Please join us for our next virtual 2021 event taking place on Thursday October 28, 2021 from 12:30-1:30 PM ET. This event will be a Member Spotlight featuring a discussion with long time NE-ACR member Richard Barbieri who will reflect on his unique path that led to an active “retirement” career in conflict resolution. Richard will look back on his years in NE-ACR leadership as well as his work on the Association for Conflict Resolution Board. Richard will offer insights into the many ways to be involved in the field in New England and beyond. He’ll also discuss the work ahead as New England faces limitations on the availability of mediation and conflict resolution programs. Come learn more about Richard and share your insights.
The format will be informal and interactive to engage all NE-ACR members and invited guests.
